Schedule Pick-Up is Thursday August 23rd. It is VERY important that you come during your assigned time slot. Each student will need the proper forms completed in order to pick-up their schedule. NO EXCEPTIONS! Please see the attached letter for your pick-up time and which documents your student is required to bring. A Sign-up Genius will be out shortly for volunteers needed during Schedule Pick-up.

The student council along with the PTA will be completing much needed bathroom makeovers for the boys’ and girls’ bathrooms located outside of the auditorium. Together we are replacing mirrors, shelving, hardware, and installing new hand dryers and air fresheners. The student council has designed some fun themes for each bathroom.
We already have a parent building the 2 shelving units.
We need a few parent volunteers to help out with painting. We also need the following items:
-paint brushes (various sizes included artist type brushes for detailed work)
-disposable plastic tarps
If you are able to volunteer your time or would like to donate any of the above items, please let the PTA know (bryantmiddleschoolpta@gmail.
Mrs. Griffin would like to send a BIG Thank You to all of the parents that donated items and/or time to the 6th & 7th grade Levagood Trip. Also, thank you to the kids that brought items to share. It was a great time with beautiful weather.
Per Mrs. Griffin and the Bryant Administration:
Please remind students that they need to bring any items to Levagood that they would like to use (bathing suits, towels, basketball, baseball mitt, bat, volleyball, board game, cards, etc.).
Also kids should NOT bring cell phones to the park/pool. Phones may be kept in lockers at school. Teachers are not responsible for student items!
Lockers are available, but students need a dollar in quarters to use them.
Please also remind kids to wear sunscreen and bring lunch, water, etc. The concession stand will be open.
Bathing Suit Attire: If students have a one piece bathing suit or a tankini, that would be preferred. We would like to do our best to follow the Bryant dress code as close as possible.

Students will be going to Levagood Park on Wednesday, June 13th. Parent volunteers are needed to help with crowd control and activities. Shifts are from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm and 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm. Please consider helping!

Bryant PTA is hosting a reception after 8th Grade Honors Night on Monday, June 11, 2018 from 6-8pm. We need donations of cookies, bottled water, and tablecloths. Please sign up to bring something and drop it off at Bryant at 5pm on Monday. Thank you for your support!

Due to the fourth Monday in May being Memorial Day (yay! No school!), the next PTA meeting will take place on May 21. 2018 at 7pm. Hope to see you there!
This week we are celebrating our teachers with a daily gift basket giveaway, gift cards, and a luncheon on Friday. Another way you can help show our hardworking teachers your appreciation is to write them a NICE note thanking them for their hard work and dedication. Parents, you can write this note as a special thank you, or better yet– have your middle schooler write a kind thank you to his or her favorite teacher at Bryant. We want to show our Bryant teachers how much we appreciate them.
