Bryant Parents – please put this date on your calendar and make every effort to attend this last PTA meeting of the 2016/17 school year. The entire executive board, plus many other committee chairs, are 8th grade parents leaving Bryant. It is necessary to secure people into the positions of President and Treasurer before the end of THIS school year in order to have a PTA going forward. Voting will (hopefully) take place at this meeting and a transition to train the new officers will happen in June. When you came to pick up your child(rens) schedule, you were given a yellow PTA membership application. Please print out the link below, fill it out, and send back to school with the membership dues with your child. It is $8 for one parent or $15 for two, $8 for one student and $7 for any additional students. Please understand that the money collected for the membership is not a fundraiser, as the Bryant PTA only keeps $1.25, while the rest goes to support the State and National organizations. It is important that you also use the form to show where you can help as a volunteer. It’s the best way to know what’s happening at your child’s school and provide more opportunities for our kids with events, support field trips, book clubs, sports equipment, and lots more!
