Important National PTA Reflection News

National PTA Reflections welcomes all grades and abilities to explore and be involved in the arts. Annually, thousands of students will reflect on a common theme and create original works of art in the categories of dance choreography, film production, literature, music composition, photography and visual arts.

The world would be a better place if is the theme for the 2014-2015 school year! This theme by Mercedes Messer of Puyallup, Washington was selected through the Reflections Theme Search Contest. When asked what inspired her theme, Mercedes said, “Our world, because I care about it and wanted to know other kids’ ideas on how we could make it a better place.”
The deadline for all entries is Monday, December 1, 2014.

Scrip Orders Due November 3rd!!!

Order your Gift Cards for your Holiday Shopping or for Gifts!!!!!  Orders will be placed on November 4th or 5th for Delivery by November 5th or 6th!!  Please remember that forms of payment are Cash, Checks, and Credit Card payments through Square.  For Credit Card Payments there will be a fee assessed to cover the costs to the PTA for accepting Credit Cards.  With Credit Cards there are 2 ways to pay: 1st is by placing your email on the order form and asking for an invoice to be emailed to you for payment from a regular laptop or computer.  2nd: I can meet you to swipe your card and having you sign for the transaction.  Please if you want to use a Credit Card just let me know what your preference is and we can arrange a time to collect payment!  If you have any questions please email Sara at Saralynnbeauchamp@gmail.com.

Haunted School Pre-Sale Starts Tomorrow!

Pre-Sale Wristbands go on sale starting tomorrow, Wednesday, October 22nd!  They will be on sale before and after school on Wednesday and Thursday!  They will be sold in the MORNING ONLY on Friday.  The cost of pre-sale wristbands is $4 for everybody over the age of 2.  The cost at the door is $5.

Road Rally Reminder

Just a quick reminder for those wanting to participate in this year’s Road Rally.  Please turn in your sign up sheet and money to Mrs. Stetz by Friday, November 7th.  Sign up sheets can be found on the PTA bulletin board next to the cafeteria!  The event takes place on Saturday, November 15th.

Buffalo Wild Wings Dine Out This WeDnEsDay!

Please consider stopping in or getting carry out from the Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant on Michigan Ave (next to Panera) anytime on Wednesday, October 15th.  Just present your waitress with the donation flyer and our PTA gets 20% of your bill (including any beverages).  A flyer should be sent home with your student this week, but if it gets lost you can print it from the link below:

Volunteers from Mrs. Gardner’s Class are needed for Popcorn Friday This Week

Popcorn Fridays at Lindbergh occur every other Friday. Each bag costs $0.25.

Three volunteers are needed for those days. There is one shift; two hours long.

Each week a specific class will be assigned to come up with Three volunteers. The three volunteers will pop, bag, and deliver the popcorn to the classrooms.

It is very easy and fun!! Kids love Popcorn Fridays and look forward to them. We look forward to meeting many parents and grandparents through out the year.
