Membership Drive Raffle

Only one week left for the membership drive raffle!!! The winner will be drawn at the October 4th General Business Meeting. Please note that our liability coverage only applies to Lindbergh PTA members, so if you’ve joined at another school, you still need to join with us!  Applications can be picked up in the main office.  Any questions? Did you know your $10 membership fee to our chapter will save you money at our Community Events, such as Bingo For Books, Haunted School, and Fun Fair?!?

Also, sign up before our next general business meeting in October and be entered to win a $50 Target gift card!  This includes staff, too!!!

Signing up DOES NOT make you obligated to volunteer or come to meetings, however we’d love to see you and hear your thoughts!

The 16th Annual Lindbergh Haunted School will be held on Friday, October 28th, 2016!  We need many volunteers to create this haunted extravaganza and are always looking for creative room leaders and helpers!

Popcorn Friday begins on Friday, September 30th!
Once a month, students can purchase up to 4 bags at 25 cents each, so send in those quarters and dollar bills!  Volunteer parents or other adults from each grade level are asked to sign up to pop and distribute the popcorn on their grade’s assigned Friday.  Click the following link for dates and to sign up:http://www.signupgenius.com/go/4090e4caaa72da4fd0-popcorn
Cafeteria volunteers are always needed during the lunch periods!  A Sign-Up Genius will be available soon.  Please consider helping out when you can!

Play bingo with friends and family to win books, enjoy some refreshments, and share some good laughs and great times.  Everyone wins!  A sign-up for volunteers and donations will be posted soon.
On Wednesday, October 5th, enjoy lunch, dinner, or just a snack at Buffalo Wild Wings (Dearborn location only) and 20% of your bill will be donated to the Lindbergh PTA!  More information will be available before the event.  Mark your calendars!

Calling All Room Parents. . .
There will be a short meeting on Friday, Sept. 23 in the cafeteria.
There will be one in the morning right after the first bell at 8:35 AM and then one at 3:00 PM.  We will go over responsibilities and answer any questions you may have.  The Holiday Boutique will be here before we know it!  If you have any questions please contact Jessica Agius-Tracy at jmat1876@yahoo.com or 313-522-9760.

The Scholastic Book Fair will be at Lindbergh from September 15th through the 21st! We need lots of volunteers to help out! Earn 5 Scholastic dollars for each shift worked!  Click the following link to sign up:

Your team must complete your challenges and meet at the rendezvous point. Turn in an envelope labeled Road Rally with your team name, list of members, and $10 per person to the Lindbergh PTA mailbox by September 23.”

Become a PTA member, meet our executive board, and hear all about the fun events and activities in store for this year.
