Each year during Parent-Teacher Conferences, we love to provide teachers with dinner on one of the conference evenings. The PTA will provide deli trays and we’d love to have some sides (soups, salads, chips, fruits or veggies) desserts, and beverages to go along with sandwiches! (Please note what you are bringing if you sign up for a soup, side, dessert.)

Items should be labeled “Teacher dinner” and delivered by 3:30 pm, Tuesday, November 15th. There will be a box in the office.

Hot and cold items should be delivered to the teachers’ lounge by 3:30 pm, Wednesday, November 16th. Any crock-pots can be plugged in, if necessary, at that time. (I will be there, but can arrange for earlier delivery or pick-up of any items that need to stay hot or cold before that time.)

Buy Gift Cards through Scrip for your Black Friday Shopping and Make Money for the PTA!
Also, buy your Barnes and Noble gift cards and use them at our December 3rd Bookfair at the Barnes and Noble Allen Park store!

Scrip is a fundraiser where you can order gift cards, and the PTA earns a percentage of the cash amount on the card. The amount depends on the company. I will send home another order form in December, so please consider getting your gift cards through us! There are 2 different ways to order gift cards: 1) Create an on-line family account. PLEASE NOTE: More cards are available on-line than are able to be printed on the order form. Please follow the instructions below to create your family account.
1) Go to 1.Click on Register if you do not have an account
2.Use Lindbergh PTA’s Enrollment Code: 7C42D7D237444
3.After you register you are ready to order
4.If you already have a family account from last year, just log in, you don’t need to re-register.
2) Fill out the form sent home and return it to your teacher. Please make sure to include your name and a number you can be reached at on the order form.
To pay for your order, we participate in Presto Pay, which will be processed through Scrip (please follow the directions on the website), or you can send in your check (made out to Lindbergh PTA) to your student’s teacher to turn in to the PTA mailbox. Please do not send cash! All orders for this month must be in by Monday, November 14th.
Cards will NOT be sent home with your student. I will post on the Lindbergh PTA Facebook page when the cards come in and/or notify you at the number you provided on the order form. I am treating these cards like cash, so I’d like to verify that they are getting into the correct hands. I will be available at school, PTA meetings, or we can arrange a meet.

Due to a fourth-grade field-trip this Friday, we need alternate volunteers for Popcorn Friday! If we don’t have volunteers, we’ll have to cancel it this week.

Reflections 2016-17 Theme:
“What Is Your Story?”

The PTA believes all children deserve a quality arts education and encourages students to pursue artistic expression through participation in its annual Reflections Program. The program offers students in pre-school through grade 12 the opportunity to create works of art for fun and recognition. It celebrates the many skills of our students and encourages them to pursue artistic expression in a number of different ways including
Film/Video Production, Dance Choreography, Musical Composition, Photography, Visual Arts and Literature.

Entry forms and guidelines will be available in the school office and also on the landings of both the north and south stairwells in the school; they are also available via e-mail.
